lemon slices are not a simple subject
This was a challenging study of the shifts in color and value on the tops and sides of each lemon slice as they gradually turned away from the direct light into open shadow. Inspired by Sarah Sedwick at her workshop at Hudson Valley Art Workshops in Greenville, NY. Her workshop was well planned, interesting, and an inspiration.
