First Paddle juried into Vermont Watercolor Society Spring 2023 show
How many times have you read about not letting failure set you back on your artist journey? I've lost track. And lost track of paying attention to it. I'd applied a time or two to the Vermont Watercolor Society shows and not gotten in. So, I stopped applying to any show, any where. And, the results may not surprise you, but I didn't get into any shows.
Seems you have to keep painting and improving. You have to learn how to take better images. And you need to keep applying. Not a difficult rational thought but it feels like it's a long winding path from my cerebelum to my right ventricle. But head and heart connected. I applied again and got in.
